Mary Joan Lynch, 91, of Albia, passed away on Thursday, November 26, 2015 at Legacy Lodge in Chariton, under the care of Circle of Life Hospice.

Mary was born April 10, 1924 to Andrew and Carmella (Bellegante) Pescador in Appanoose County. She attended country school through 8th grade. She married Jerry Beadle on October 4, 1952, in Albia. To this union three daughters were born Debbie, Julie, and Susan. Jerry passed away and she later married Joseph Lynch in June of 1983 in Virginia Beach, Virginia.

Mary was a homemaker all of her life and also worked at A & P Store in Centerville and later at Super Value in Albia. Mary enjoyed crocheting, murder mysteries, and cooking. Her true joys in life were dancing and spending time with her family.

She is survived by two daughters, Debbie Beadle-Wells of Albia, and Susan (Robert) Fulton of Melrose; 17 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren. Mary is also survived by a son-in-law, Don Stoffa of Davenport, Iowa.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Andrew and Carmella; husbands, Jerry and Joseph; a daughter, Julie Stoffa and a granddaughter, Julie Wells.

Mary's body has been cremated and there will be no service held at this time. A memorial service will be held in the spring.
